Denise Brother walk in and we sang to him the song that I just heard on his sister's Zen: "I am Cow" by THE ARROGANT WORMS (which was his favourite) and it goes something like this

"I am Cow , I am Cow , Hear Me Moo" (somehow i sang this line when i heard of the song title ... amazing isnt it ?) (U can find the whole lyrics here)

then Denise Brother told me that he just found out that the short form of my name is Dick (something i been reminded a couple of times and its not something that i look forward to)

to which i replied ..

"I am Dick, I am Dick, Watch me Spew"

Who's higher

Met an old friend online and asked where have she been, havent seen her online for a long time. Was told that she had fever recently and hey hey hey so did I

So I bragged about how high my temp reached 39.5 deg and guess what ???

hers was higher ... 39.8 deg

I cant believe we just challenge to see who was sicker

Newton Circus Char Kuay Teow @ Serangoon Garden

Was around the Serangoon area at around 4pm and had a sudden craving for Kuay Teow... so head down to the Serangoon Garden Market (beside Chomp Chomp). The Queue was relatively short and to my surprise, they are willing to take my special order which many other reputable Kuay Teow stores would reject me out right. The Char Kuay Teow with the special blend of sea food and egg just melt in my mouth and before I finish my plate, I wanted another.

Goodies > For a shop that's so popular, I was surprised that the lady agreed to cook my special order of no Beansprouts. And when I realized they were going to cook my order with new Kuay Teow, I pushed my luck and ask for Kuay Teow only (nope I dont like the thick yellow noodles) which they agreed without any fuss! That for me was classy service for a top notch food!

I just won Movie tix from Power98

Was Power Cruisin'with Jeremy Ratnam down from the CTE back to my place when he alert us that there will be tickets giveaway for the movie CLICK

as I was parking the car, the buzzer for the "Call Now for tickets for Click" was activated and I hurried Denise to call the hotline ... and my trusty phone hanged on me! WTF

using Denise new hp (Some new phone have all the luck), the first call reach the long ringing tone and we knew we are in luck liao!

it had been a long time since I won tix from Power 98! and it's nice to get that winning feeling back again!

Fever that just wont go down

Damn ... Doc Medicine Not Working @ All

after one dose of his Med and rest, my temp hit 39.5 Deg ... sigh it went up

but strange, I dont feel hot at all and without the readings from the thermometer, I wont know how hot issit inside my body

keep thinking of that Scene in Fantastic Four where a nurse took the temp of Johnny Storm and she said "Wow you are hot", to which he said "Why Thank You, So are You"

I thought of waiting to 8am when I should take the second dosage and see if that will bring my temp down ... then suddenly I got that tingling sensation in my balls ... I got a werid feeling that they are shutting down due to my body's high temp

Decide not to play play and went for a self imposed Cold Shower

What the Fuck! Even after the shower, my temp is not going down ... siao liao ... took the second dose and pray that I wont wake up as a vegetable man

My cough had gotten worse ... and the worst part was that it was late and my temp reached a all time high ...

Mom nagged that why didnt I go see a doctor in the day time ... night time will be damn ex

tried to tahan until day breaks but temp refuse to go down even after a blood cold shower

lan lan go see doc ... heng heng not too ex ... only 30 bucks ++ and somemore got someone nice enough to fork it out for me : )

ESP or Subconscious Tingling Pt 2

Was supposed to meet up with a famous director from Malaysia with Stefan this evening but we have to wait for her to finish showing her latest film to the local distributor before we could meet her for a cup of tea.

She was going to show the rough cut at the distributor's place and Stefan asked me, "Where do U think the distributor stayed at ?"

Without thinking much and knowing nuts, I threw him the furthest location that I could think of at that moment (Changi was a close second) and told him Sembawang (thinking of the Sembawang park that overlooks the southern coast of Malaysia)

a few minutes later, Stefan recevied a sms from her

"I will be at Sembawang area"

I decide to horn my ability towards 4D and ToTo Guessing

Counting Cars

Took Andrew for a walk and at a traffic junction, to pass time, Denise told Andrew to count the cars that were passing by ...

with one finger out, he counted "One"

and when the next few cars zoom by, we heard more "One" "One" "One"

Most Number of Unexpected Encounters in one day

Was at Denise's Graduation today at Suntec and I met quite a number of people that I know even tho there was hardly any friends of Denise that I know that were there

First there was this guy that I just sold a couple of Dvds to... was going to collect flowers when he walked pass me ... had a little chat which ended in "What a small world"

then I saw my Uni friend who was actually my secondary school teacher's daughter ... turned out that she was selling some SMU merchandise there for the graduates

when waiting for the event to begin, I saw my poly class mates ... didnt get to speak to him as i was stuck at where i was sitting at and started to wonder by what kind of connection is he there for ? his gf's graduation ? his brother or sister ?

then the last couple of people was really by extended means ... they were my dad's brother's wife 's sister's family who happened to be Denise's Dance Mates back in Secondary School ...

it's a small world after all : )

Back to School

Was traveling around Toa Payoh area today and had the chance to pass by my old secondary school. Decided to take a look at the old basketball courts of my old secondary school. Don't know why but emotions was pretty high when I saw the old scout den and basketball courts that I used to hang out.

Tears was almost going to flow out already when Someone shout "excuse me, are u so n so that we are suppose to meet?" turned out that there was suppose to be a meeting between some contractors to do up my old school ... sadly the mood was destroyed ...

"No, I am just taking a look at my old school" and with that, I left this place that I have not visited for almost 12 years
