Necessity is the mother of all invention

Was about to go off Plaza Sin and as predicated earlier, it started to rain.

Rain as in drizzle not thunderstorm type.

But I was carrying some left over posters which were not claimed by a certain few ungrateful contestants. I didn't mind walking in the rain but I didn't like the idea of getting those posters wet. (Even tho the posters are of movies that I despised and won't be watching it ever even for free.)

so hanging around Plaza Sin main entrance .. I wondered if I am going to wait for the drizzle to stop ...

you know la , drizzle can have very long life one and might not stop for a few hours. I just had a lousy haircut (read entry below) and kinda want to wash it off .. it's either that or i want to hide my head from other people's viewing pleasure

then hanging around ... inhaling the second hand smoke from those nice smokers who decided to gather around the entrance and create a cloud of their own .. I saw umbrella shield that shopping centre put in front of their entrance so that people who drip their wet umbrella all over the shopping centre ...

What can prevent can also protect !

Yup that what creep into my mind ... actually this is the part where I would like to put the pictures of how to do it but computer n handphone problem so I cant do it ... return for more later la

first ... roll the posters up until the poster can be push into the umbrella shield ... there will be one expose side

then take another shield and push the expose side into the second shield

there u have it ... a rolled up posters that protected from the rain : ) and off i go ...

Cut by a Balding Guy

I am long over due for a hair cut and after so "work" at Plaza Sin, I pop down to the 10 minutes hair cut saloon at basement.

I passed by the saloon and noticed that there a barber waiting for the next customer. He's balding and has very short hair cut (almost botak). Not sure why but I decide to walk pass the saloon and check out Christmas Trees at Carrefour first ... might be becos I was hopping someone will come along and uses this balding baber's service.

But after I return, he was still waiting with a few of his colleagues who had just finished their last customer since I passby a few mins ago. Since I tried both other two colleagues before, I thought no harm done in trying this new guy.

So I made my payment and sat down ... waiting for him to prep me and ask what kind of hair cut I want ...

So i go thru my routine instruction for the type of haircut

"Cut Short for the back and the side, Cut half of my current fringe and trim my top as it's a bit too thick"

When I got to the thick part, Time seemed to pause for a while as I noticed his eyes and then his balding sport that hidden by his short army haircut. He got that unhappy look in his face

Suddenly it hit me ... er did I say something to offend him ??

Thru out the hair cut, I kept wondering if he hates his job as it's likely that he might have to face a lot of people with thick hairs. I felt like asking him if he likes his job. If you hate your job, it's unlikely that you will excel in it.

So I kept wondering and wondering but the most memorable thing about this hair cut wasn't his baldingness but It's one of the worst hair cut I ever got from that shop. If I ever go back ther again, I will choose someone else.

Forever Indebt to 2 slices of White Bread

Was at Genting Highlands recently with my folks, sister and her kid.

Was having the cheapo buffet @ First World Hotel when Andrew, my nephew kept wanting to visit the amusement park below. Basically what he wants, he gets and his mom gotto bring him down so he won't throw a fit.

I had just finish my first plate and my Dad turn over and ask me if I am done with breakfast. I had a urge for white breads with jam n butter but in this cheapo buffet, there's even a queue for white breads at the bread station. So I told my Dad that I still want to get white breads but I will be getting them when the queue is not so long.

After which, I just sat that and look around the huge restaurant and wonder why there so many people swarming around even tho it's not holidays yet and it's a weekday.

Looking around, I was shocked to see my Dad queuing up at the bread station. Deep in my mind, I was wondering if he is getting for me but I thought it shouldn't be as he was seldom so nice to me. Dismissing that thought, I continue my people watching and daydreaming.

When my Dad came back, he actually put a plate of white breads in front of me.

"Here the white breads you wanted, the corners been removed because of the tongs but it's still clean to eat"

and on the side of the bread, there jam and butter! Oh boy I was so touched. I never been close to my Dad before and it was such an unexpected moving experience.

So I spread the jams n butter and start munching on the white breads while feeling so loved.

My Dad left the table again to get other stuff for my Mom. After my Dad's left us, my Mom started telling me "See how much your Dad love you" and so on ... I just nod my head and continue eating ...

After finishing those breads, I continue my people watching in bliss and my Dad returned with my Mom's food. My Dad noticed that I had finished my breads and asked me; "Finish your breads?"

"Yeah" I replied with a smile

"You done already then quick go down to help you Sister look after Andrew la !"

Sigh ... heart break siah !

My Mom and I had a good few minutes laugh at the whole incident .... We all thought that he was being nice to me but his was just concern about his Grandson...

so far there been quite a few bands that did great on their first hit album but their follow up fails to appeal to me. Only My Chemical Romance managed to keep the hits coming ... the band to watch out for

Saw this MTV late one night and tho I wasn't really listening to what the song is singing about, seeing a Mr Bush look alike doing his jogging at the expense of others was simply hilarious.

A simple jog spoof that hit home so many things that didnt seems right during Mr Bush administration.
